What are your polished plasters made from?

Our traditional Venetian plasters are made to an authentic recipe of natural lime putty combined with crushed white Cararra marble, by the renown and long established Italian company Stucco Italiano.

Powdered marble is sifted and graded into differing sizes of grains so as to make the various finishes, then mixed with carefully selected aged lime powders and putty. The finest marble powders are used for our Classico and Carrara Marmorinos, and the coarser grains and chippings for Intonachino and Dilavato.

These can then tinted as required from our extensive colour chart, or be mixed with a number of traditional decorative additives such as terracotta or mother of pearl.
